Postdoctoral Fellow

 

We are recruiting a postdoctoral fellow to work on projects focused on neuro-immune interactions and microglial immunometabolism during early development. Our research focuses broadly on the establishment of sex differences in perinatal development that impact sex differences in the incidence of neurodevelopmental disorders. Experience in neuroscience, mitochondrial biology, rodent handling and behavior, and/or developmental biology is ideal, but not required.

Postdoctoral fellows will have a dual appointment in the Department of Pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.

Research Technician

 

We are recruiting a full-time research technician to oversee and assist with animal colony management, animal care and behavioral testing, genotyping, molecular biology methods, and histological techniques.

Desirable qualifications include (but are not required):

  • Experience working with laboratory rodents (especially mice)

  • Familiarity with lab and biosafety procedures

  • Familiarity with molecular biology methods

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work and communicate within a team
